From beyond the pale

Website one year old, time for an update.
This has been a busy 2 months. I have gotten more comfortable in my new job, and I did a run of stoneware angels for the Christmas season. The angels turned out well and have been well recived locally. Unfortunately, I did not get enough done to offer them on-line this year. My other exciting news is that my Sprout Lake Petroglyph, Haietlik, painting got accepted in to the Old School House National Winter Show 2010. I look forward to it being on display once again. On the downside, we have had torrential rains here on Vancouver Island, and my studio has been flooding from above and below. I had to tarp our roof deck to keep the rain out from above, but cannot stop the seepage through the foundation wall. It is so disheartening to see my cozy little studio all soggy and damp. Last winter, nothing like this happened. I had one foundation crack and it weeped a bit, but this year it is coming from several new places. I fear the drainage tiles around our house have collapsed with age. I remember rains like this from years ago. Ugh. Happy Holidays everyone and thank you for stopping by my web site.
